Tip #14: Cleanse your system, kick start your day and increase your metabolism (which is vital for your health and beauty).
Forget Jump Start, Red Bull or any other energy drink. Have a cup of hot tea infused with lemon to kick start your day and it actually help cleanse your body system too!

Tip #11: Say no to dry hair with a DIY moisturising shampoo!
This is especially good for girls with long hair like mine. Mix in your shampoo (about 2 tablespoon) a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of coconut milk. This helps prevent dry hair. Skip the conditioner to prevent oily scalp or at most use it on your hair ends only. If you got a really oily scalp, use the mixture of olive oil and coconut milk on your hair without massaging it into your scalp. Next, shampoo your hair like you normally do. You may also like to do a hot oil treatment once a month. Want to know how to DIY at home? Check out this post.

Tip #10: Know what is going onto your face!
This is especially true for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Before diving straight to purchase that beauty product, take time to read the ingredients list. You make want to make sure that none of the ingredients listed has a comedogenic level 3 or higher. You may also want to avoid ingredients such as Talc or Mica. Start caring about what you apply on your skin and you will be a step towards a flawless looking skin!

Tip #9: I want less visible pores!
A lot of us have this problem with enlarged pores. Try applying an alcohol-free toner after washing your face. The result is not instant but over time, pores will look less visible!

Tip #8: Moisturizer? Think twice!
I know how people always say about moisturizing. But I have been told by my doctor that  it is not for everyone! The weather in Singapore is way too hot and humid for those with sensitive acne prone skin and it will actually cause more harm than good. So if you find that your skin seems clogged all the time and that acne is always hanging around, time to skip that daily moisturizer. Limit it to twice a week if you must!
