Tip #18: Curl your eye lash effectively!
Heat up your eye lash curler with a hair dryer to curl your eye lash effectively. A warm curler also gives you a longer lasting curl! But remember to test the temperature on your hand first to avoid burning your eye lids!

Tip #17: Kitchen aid to the blemish/acne rescue !
There are many ingredients readily available in our kitchen that are good for us (in beauty sense). One tip I’ve learnt recently is to blot some honey on your face to get rid of blemish/acne. Cheap and simple way, no?

Tip #16: Natural looking Falsies!
Have thin and short lash yet hate the fake-ness of a fake eyelash and mascara is not your best friend?  Try using falsies for your lower lash on your upper lash instead. Pump up your lash volume yet not too dramatic. Stick it close to your lash line and you may even pass it off as your real lash! <I’ve friends who thought that it was my natural lash when I did this trick>

Tip #11: Say no to dry hair with a DIY moisturising shampoo!
This is especially good for girls with long hair like mine. Mix in your shampoo (about 2 tablespoon) a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of coconut milk. This helps prevent dry hair. Skip the conditioner to prevent oily scalp or at most use it on your hair ends only. If you got a really oily scalp, use the mixture of olive oil and coconut milk on your hair without massaging it into your scalp. Next, shampoo your hair like you normally do. You may also like to do a hot oil treatment once a month. Want to know how to DIY at home? Check out this post.

Tip #10: Know what is going onto your face!
This is especially true for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Before diving straight to purchase that beauty product, take time to read the ingredients list. You make want to make sure that none of the ingredients listed has a comedogenic level 3 or higher. You may also want to avoid ingredients such as Talc or Mica. Start caring about what you apply on your skin and you will be a step towards a flawless looking skin!
