Tip #9: I want less visible pores!
A lot of us have this problem with enlarged pores. Try applying an alcohol-free toner after washing your face. The result is not instant but over time, pores will look less visible!

Tip #8: Moisturizer? Think twice!
I know how people always say about moisturizing. But I have been told by my doctor that  it is not for everyone! The weather in Singapore is way too hot and humid for those with sensitive acne prone skin and it will actually cause more harm than good. So if you find that your skin seems clogged all the time and that acne is always hanging around, time to skip that daily moisturizer. Limit it to twice a week if you must!

Always go to sleep with a clean face otherwise the debris and dirt will be left on your face overnight! So don’t ever go to bed with your makeup on.

Tip #6: Load up on water to get rid of water retention!
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to prevent water retention. Reason being when we drink enough water, body will adapt to the feeling that “I don’t need to store water”, therefore will release them out of the body system. Plus, it’s good for the complexion. =]

Tip #5: Split no more! Use egg shampoo.
If you love keeping your hair long, then you probably will understand my pain with split ends! Came across this fantastic method of keeping split ends at bay. The trick is to use an egg shampoo.  For this treatment, all you need is an ounce of rosemary, preferably fresh, a pint of hot water, and one egg. What you want to do is steep your rosemary in the hot water for about 20 minutes, then let it cool. Once it’s cooled down, beat your egg into it, then massage the mix into your hair and rinse, just as you would with a regular shampoo. Say goodbye to split ends.

Often, nail polishes and habits can lead to yellowing of our nails. So how can we prevent that? That is to always use a base coat and let it dry COMPLETELY before applying your nail lacquer. Also buff your nails regularly and never let nail polish stay on your nails for more than 5 days. Follow these simple steps and say hi to healthy looking nails soon!
