Tonight, I sleep among the stars.

Sometimes a re-charge in the galaxy can help refresh you & help you go further.
You need not travel all the way out to the galaxy. Look closer to home like the Wanderlust Hotel at 2 Dickson Road, Singapore. Book yourself a Space adventure room and fall asleep among the stars. Zzz…

Currently lying on a tanning bed, by the pool, sipping a glass of ginger ale & typing this. Life is good!

So here’s me lying by the pool, enjoying life.

So my essentials for a tanning session by the pool?

1. A good book. Currently loaded in my ipad is “The Tipping Point” quite a good read I have to say.
2. Phone/iPod. Current choice of poison: “Phantom of the opera OST”
3. Shades.

Well that’s pretty much it! Now, back to enjoying my holiday!

Toby’s Estate | Possibly the Best Coffee in town

[Follow me @Ahdalin]

Being a brunch lover, I usually “demand” LeeBB to source for new places to bring me to for our usual Sunday brunch dates. For one of those dates, he brought me to Toby’s Estate.

This award-winning cafe opened in Singapore in October 2011. Not only do they serve a good cuppa, they whip up a decent meal too.

High ceiling make the not so big area feels big & the tall windows fill the place with natural light. With a big central table, walking into the cafe makes you feel like you’ve just entered a friend’s place for a meal. It makes it all the more easy to chat up with a stranger. I mean, hey, it’d be a fun way to make new friends, no?

Status: Came by this short film today and it makes me re-think my values in life!

The Butterfly Circus

I’m sure some of you guys have heard of Nick Vujicic. If you have not, his the guy with NO LIMBS but went on to do amazing things in his life. As one of the cast of The Butterfly Circus, Nick Vujicic “received the Best Actor award for his starring performance as Will at the 2010 Method Fest Independent Film Festival.”[quote from Wikipedia]

What is “The Butterfly Circus” you may ask.
[Quote from The Butterfly Circus.com]
Well this is a 23min short film set at the height of the Great Depression. the showman (Eduardo Verastegui) of a renowned circus leads his troupe through the devastated American landscape, lifting the spirits of audiences along the way. During their travels they discover Will (Nick Vujicic), a man without limbs at a carnival sideshow, but after an intriguing encounter with the showman he becomes driven to hope against everything he has ever believed.

I think there’s no need for me to go on about this short film, so here’s the film. Simply enjoy! =] Read more…

macadamia natural oil healing oil treatment

Bella Box had this as one of the items given to subscribers in their May box. I recently got my hands on one and tried it. To be clear, I was never a big fan of hair oil for I often find it overly greasy and oily to manage. As for this product, let’s just say that I’m pretty amazed at what it can do.

Wanna know how amazing it is? Let’s find out!
