My recent graduation gift to myself & LeeBB – Bangkok Trip. This is already the 3rd time I’ve been there in the last 3 to 4 years and amazingly, I still manage to surprise myself with lots of new places! So like my previous Bangkok post,  I’m going to recommend you some places I’ve been to.

Fashion Friday Finds – Peplum Love

I was never a big fan of peplum dress. I find that most of the time, I look fat in them because of the extra fabric “hanging” around my waist to hips area.  But these 3 dresses made me fall  in love with peplum dress! Plus, you can just throw them on and look great without much fuss (no need to even accessorize much)!

If you have a body shape like mine, big hips, small waist and decent bust size, follow the tips in the post to find a peplum dress that suits you!

Konjac Sponge for effective skin cleansing & exfoliating!

Status: Just got back home and wash up, with the Konjac Sponge ❤

I was deeply attracted by the black looking wet thingy hanging on the shelf in Watsons. It was packaged in a clear bag with pink borders, apparently a product from Taiwan. Instructions and benefits are all in Chinese and the only English words are “Konjac Sponge” and the price.

Priced at $5+/$6+, it wasn’t that expensive but somehow I only bought it the 3rd time I passed by the product, with completely no knowledge of what’s the benefits except that it lightly exfoliate skin as it helps create foam in facial cleanser (all facial sponges do the same thing).

Mothers’ Day Gift Guide. Gift for the most “troublesome” woman in your life!

Status: Scrambling for Mothers’ Day gift ideas which frankly speaking, is very hard if you have my mum!

Mama C is a typical Auntie (or somewhat typical) who prefers practicality above all else and she doesn’t use skin care or any beauty products (except the occasional lipstick) nor does she accessorize much. As for clothing, I have NO TIME to shop and my brother don’t know her size. So we are stuck. Are you in the same situation as me??

My second box of Vanity Trove came awhile back. For March Trove, there were 2 types: Go For Glow or Brighten Up.

Subscribed to my first VanityTrove and though there was some screw up with payment which result in me actually receiving my Trove slightly later but nonetheless, I was EXCITED to see the package on my table when I got home!

The concept of VanityTrove is pretty similar to BellaBox and GlamaBox where every month they will handpick a few sample items, package it together and send it out to subscribers.
