The picture says it all! So ladies, no more excuses. I can continue for another hour on what’s good with weights training but for summary sake, read my previous blog post “The Fatty Issue – Myths and Facts” to know why lifting weights is good for you.

Quote from The Fatty Issue which I think perfectly explain the meaning of the picture:

Myth 2:

Weights training add bulk.

Fact 2:

I guess most people believe that because of body builders. And I have to agree that to add bulk (in terms of muscle, not fat), the only way is by doing weights. But what most people don’t know is that for a girl, we can’t add much mass. We don’t have much mass to begin with. And more importantly, we lack the most important hormone that aids in adding mass – Testosterone. This important hormone is mainly found in guys and the lack of it in females make us difficult to become bigger when we do weights.

Motivational Figure : Jamie Eason

Time:

Status: “Oogling” at Jamie!

Previously I have mentioned Jamie Eason in one of my post on hardcore workout. I strongly believe that most, if not all of you will be wondering who she is. Born in 1976, she’s an American fitness model and had won the World’s Fittest Model competition. Her body may not be desirable for all you but her attitude towards fitness definitely is a motivation for all of us to follow.

[Quoted from an interview:]

What advice would you give to someone who wants to get started in getting fit?
For someone starting out and wanting to get in shape, my best advice would be to focus on cleaning up your diet (unprocessed foods) and eating more regularly, preferably 5 to 6 times a day, on a consistent basis.  Without a proper nutrition plan, working out alone, will not give you the results you’re after.

So what are you waiting for? Kick start your diet plan now! Need help dieting? I understand your pain so hopefully my dieting post may help. =]
